This website is operated by UE Ltd, trading online as First Uni Center. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to UE Ltd. We act as the data controller for the personal information described in this policy unless we explain otherwise.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information collected through this website, our contact forms, email, telephone, WhatsApp and our direct communications with prospective and existing clients. Third-party websites, social networks and messaging platforms have their own privacy policies and act independently when you use their services.

• your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number;
• the subject and content of your enquiry;
• consultation, service and correspondence records;
• academic, identity, translation or supporting documents you choose to provide for a requested service;
• billing and transaction records where you purchase a service; and
• any other information you voluntarily provide.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, our systems and service providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages viewed, date and time of access, security logs, cookie identifiers and your consent preferences.

Information from third parties

We may receive information when you contact us through WhatsApp, email, social media, embedded maps or video platforms. We may also receive service-related information from partners or advisers where this is necessary to provide a service you requested and the disclosure is lawful.

Sensitive information and documents

Documents used for academic verification, translation or consultation may contain identity details, educational records or other sensitive information. Please provide only information that is relevant and requested, and do not send original identity documents or unnecessary sensitive data through an unsecured channel. Where special-category data is involved, we process it only when an additional lawful condition is available, such as explicit consent or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity and impact of the processing and do not use that basis where your rights and interests override ours.

If UK or EEA personal information is transferred to a country without an applicable adequacy decision, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism where required, such as approved standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, together with supplementary safeguards where appropriate.

8. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements. Typical periods are:

• general enquiries: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact;

Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve your concern. If UK data-protection law applies, you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/. If EU data-protection law applies, you may complain to the supervisory authority in the country where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred.

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so please use care when sending sensitive documents and contact us if you need an appropriate submission method.

Our services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorisation. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
